Collective Solitude

This painting is a 60" x 60"contemporary abstract figural work that emphasizes atmosphere and introspection through layers of color and creates a sense of memory or sensory experience.

The figures appear to be standing together yet they seem isolated in their own thoughts or memories.

In the quiet wash of blue and gold,
The edges of the world begin to fray,
As they soften into light and grey.

They stand like echoes in a crowded hall,
Without a face, yet with a soul,
Woven together in a layered dance.

Are they arriving or leaving the frame?
Are they a memory or just a dream?
Whatever they are, they remain the same—
Drifting like ghosts in a sunlit stream.
